Research Group in Learning and Society

The Research Group in Learning and Society aims to investigate how teaching and learning processes are shaped in relation to the social, cultural, technological, and linguistic contexts in which they take place. From a critical, interdisciplinary, inclusive, and situated perspective, the group seeks to generate knowledge about pedagogical practices, educational trajectories, and identity constructions in formal and non-formal settings, paying particular attention to the tensions, opportunities, and challenges that emerge in multilingual, digitalized territories marked by structural inequalities.

Our approach is predominantly exploratory and qualitative. We conduct educational research situated in the educational contexts and/or communities in which each researcher is immersed.

  1. Construction of identities and knowledge in multilingual and digital contexts
  2. Curriculum design and pedagogical practices in teacher education
  3. Technologies, critical literacy and futures
