The Industrialization and Maintenance with Emerging Technologies Technological Unit develops R&D activities mainly in the areas of industrialization and industrial maintenance intelligent, with direct application to systems and equipment in industries prioritizing the following sectors: food product processing (vegetables, dairy products, etc.); metal products, machinery, robotics and vehicles; advanced mechatronic systems in agro-industrial, road and forestry machinery; management of the production resource chain: energy, water, supply oriented to individualization, quality, preservation and optimization of resources.
