Research Group on Irrigation and Agrophotovoltaic Systems Technology and Management

The Research Group on Irrigation and Agrophotovoltaic Systems Technology and Management aims to generate and disseminate knowledge in science, technology, and innovation oriented toward developing solutions for optimizing water use and promoting sustainable agricultural production systems. In doing so, it contributes to food security through the promotion of efficient, profitable, and climate-resilient systems.

  1. Management and operation of irrigation systems.
  2. Assessment of water, soil, and energy resources in agrophotovoltaic systems.
  3. LPWAN networks and sensors for monitoring agro-environmental variables in agricultural systems.
  4. Remote sensing for crops, soils, and water resources.
  5. Soil and root assessment in production systems.
