The Research and Development Directorate, together with UTEC's Strategic Research Groups, invite UTEC students and faculty to learn about the experience of Iván Zapata and his team, who participated in Deeptech Boost 2025 LATAM - CITES, a program that provides tools to transform scientific and technological knowledge into innovation with a global impact.

The team developed a sensor that enables the monitoring of carbon emissions in the soil as part of the Center-North Territorial R&D Agenda. From CITES, Fernando Molinari will share how they support and guide researchers in transforming disruptive science into business opportunities.
