ABOUT THE DEGREE

The Technologist Degree in Management of Dairy Production Systems is a joint career between the Council of Professional Technical Education/UTU and UTEC, aimed at training professionals with a high level of specialization in the operational/productive management of Dairy Production Systems (DPS), with a strong profile in monitoring and control of the production system, human capital management and a global vision and spirit of proactivity, leadership, social commitment and professional ethics. Within the framework of the strategic line Approaching Education and Work, this career is offered in the modality of alternation between training companies and the educational institution, by means of paid internships.

High School graduates from the Secondary Education Council (CES) from the following tacks: Agricultural Sciences, Biological Sciences, Physics-Mathematics, Mathematics and Design and equivalent plans.

Agriculture High School graduates from the Technical and Professional Education Council (CETP-UTU).

Graduates from this degree will be competent to:

  • Manage, monitor and control DPS, based on good practices and technological developments derived from innovation in a globalized context of milk production, promoting the preservation of the environment and natural resources.
  • Organize and manage the human capital of the DPS, taking into account occupational health and safety as well as decent work conditions, ensuring the sustainability and competitiveness of the system.
  • Develop applied research activities based on the search, organization, systematization and interpretation of data related to the DPS processes in order to contribute to the continuous improvement of the DPS.

Las preinscripciones a las carreras de grado de UTEC inician generalmente en el mes de noviembre y se realizan a través de un formulario web. Una vez aprobada la fecha oficial de inicio y fin de preinscripciones, podrás verla en nuestro sitio web.

La documentación necesaria para realizar esta preinscripción es la siguiente:

  • Cédula de identidad
  • Carné de salud vigente
  • Pase de Enseñanza Media Superior (fórmula 69A de bachillerato o constancia de egreso del CES o CTEP-UTU)
  • Carta de motivación

En el caso de aquellas carreras que no poseen límite de cupos para el ingreso o cuyos cupos no son superados en el primer período de preinscripciones, se abre una nueva instancia en el período enero-febrero.
